High Voltage Detection System - HVDS (Life Saving Safety Technology)
In the iron and steel, construction, and energy sectors, the safety of technical personnel working with cranes, construction machinery, aerial platforms (manlifts), and locations close to high-voltage lines is of vital importance. Even when all occupational health and safety measures are taken, human errors can bring serious risks. OmniVAS (High Voltage Detection System), with its smart structure that never allows for human error, provides a fully safe working environment for personnel working in vehicles with operators.
How Does the System Work ?
OmniVAS consists of multiple sensors placed at strategic points on the vehicle and a central control unit (CPU) inside the cabin. Multiple sensors placed at strategic points on the vehicle continuously monitor the surrounding electric field.
First Warning at 7 Meters: When the service vehicle enters the high-voltage area, the system warns the operator with an audible alarm and warning light.
Automatic Stop at 5 Meters: If the operator does not stop despite the warnings, the system automatically stops the movement of the vehicle; thus, potential loss of life is prevented and damage to the vehicle is averted. (These distances are adjustable)


Outstanding Technical and Structural Features
Wide Application Area: Operates safely at <50kV and >50kV voltage levels.
Multiple Sensor Support: Depending on the dimensions of the lift and the number of arms, more than 1 (maximum 4) sensors can be connected to the system.
Adjustable Detection Distance: The high-voltage detection distance can be flexibly adjusted between 3 and 6 meters (±1 meter measurement accuracy).
Durable Hardware: Operates with a 12 VDC or 24 VDC power supply, has an IP65 protection class, and shows superior performance in harsh weather conditions ranging from -20°C to +60°C.
