High-Speed E/FSO Laser Transmission

E/FSO OmniLink is our innovative communication solution that provides secure, uninterrupted, and gigabit-speed data transmission point-to-point through the air, eliminating physical fiber optic cabling costs and infrastructure challenges.

What is FSO ? FSO (Free Space Optics) is an optical communication technology that transmits data through the air (free space) using laser beams instead of fiber optic cables. It combines the high speed and data security of fiber optic networks with the flexibility of wireless connectivity, without the need for physical line excavation.

What is E/FSO ? E/FSO (Enhanced Free Space Optics) is a carrier-grade infrastructure that maximizes the resistance of standard FSO technology against environmental conditions (heavy fog, rain, snow).

Supported by integrations such as advanced optical tracking algorithms and radio frequency (RF) redundancy, it ensures 99.999% uninterrupted communication (uptime) in all weather conditions.

How Does FSO Work ? FSO technology works as if there is an invisible fiber optic cable stretched through the air. The two main components required by the system are:

Line of Sight: The two points to be communicated must see each other directly and without obstruction.

Data Transmission with Light: The transmitting device (transceiver) converts the digital data coming from the network into high-frequency laser light beams and focuses them on the opposite point. The receiving lens on the other side captures these optical signals and instantly converts them back into digital data (voice, video, internet) to transfer them to the network system. It creates an extremely secure data flow that is nearly impossible to intercept or disrupt from the outside.
